Well about bloody time, DPR owner and patron Benjamin Vial finally sees his long awaited album in all its glory on his now triumphant imprint, since its infancy he's been trying to finish what has been one of his biggest musical tests as a seasoned producer. The Parisian producer has been at it since the '90s, making a myriad of twisted electronic sounds for labels like Plasmapool, Erase, APE and Circuit Freq to name a few, but now his ambition to see his own long-player aired via his own blood, sweat and tears has come to fruition in the shape of this physical release which will see Vinyl & CDs hit the record shops of the world.
'Grand Angle' pores on his predecessors, but keeps a forever modern flow with some impressive synth work, live drumlines and vocals. His ever-present knowledge exudes through this collection allowing his varied musical taste to show what he loves and devotes so much time to. Expect elements of psychedelic ambience, old-school electro, French hip-hop, raw 90's house and melodic techno, whilst utilising the dulcet tones of Louis Mio and the raw French flow of good friend ACF. This album certainly keeps the eclectic juices flowing from start to finish.
